Irene + Cameron: Romantic Garden Party

The morning of her big day, Irene was calm yet excited as she enjoyed being pampered by the team at Makeup in the 702. Soon after Irene's lipstick was applied, and Cameron's cufflinks were in place, they were ready for their intimate First Look at the stunning JW Marriott Resort & Spa. Irene & Cameron's love is so fun and easily captured...we hope you enjoy their photos as much as we do!

As the ceremony processional music began, we sent the wedding party down the aisle at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. The ring bearers held a sign that read "Here Comes the Bride" while they looked adorable in their matching mint colored bowties.  Irene walked down the aisle, escorted by her parents, and clutching a bouquet wrapped in vintage lace created by the ever-so-talented team at Layers of LovelyAfter a traditional Greek ceremony, Irene and Cameron were pronounced husband and wife!

While Ella Gagiano captured a few beautiful portraits of the Bride & Groom, guests enjoyed cocktail hour inside the lobby of Panos Hall. In between passed hors d’oeuvres and refreshing drinks, guests visited the guest book table to leave their well wishes and to find their escort card displayed on a layer of lush moss. Of course, friends and family jumped into the photo booth for that perfect photo op by DJ Harry O Productions

We invited guests into Irene & Cameron's reception where they were greeted with a mixture of long and round tables filled with lavish pastel floral, luxurious linen, gold accents, and tons of lit pillar candles. The overhead bistro lighting created the perfect romantic atmosphere for this garden party-inspired wedding reception.

The delectable dinner was prepared onsite by the talented Vintner Grill  catering team and was served family style. The menu included crispy calamari with lemon and curry aioli, white bean hummus with olive relish and spicy pita chips, traditional Greek salad, pan roasted chicken breasts, bistro streak medallions with a peppercorn reduction, wild mushroom pepper tagliatelle with a portabella cream reduction and house made truffle ricotta. Yum!

We very much miss our lunchtime wedding planning meetings with Irene & the MOB Bernadette, but we can't wait to catch up with both of them in the very near future.

Thank you Irene & Cameron for letting us be a part of your special day! We wish you a lifetime full of love and happiness!

Kelley + Dave: Modern Purple Glam

Kelley & Dave were pronounced husband and wife at St. Viator Church in Las Vegas, Nevada on a beautiful mid-May evening.

Immediately following the ceremony, guests made their way to Keep Memory Alive Event Center where they were greeted with tray-passed light bites, champagne and cocktails. There was even a signature cocktail named "Patty Cake" in honor of the MOB, Pat! Luxurious white lounge groupings provided a chic setting while guests mixed and mingled under the breezeway's unique architectural canopy.

The iconic Frank Gehry designed Keep Memory Alive Event Center was the perfect setting for Kelley + Dave's wedding reception. With an eclectic mix of modern and classic décor, the space was brought to life with lush lavender and violet florals, white textured linens, silver mercury glass and pewter accents.

Guests were in awe as the sparkling crystal chandeliers and tall floral centerpieces caught their eye upon walking into the gorgeous dinner & dancing reception. After a delectable dinner by Gustav Mauler heartfelt toasts and special moment dances, the glossy white dance floor was filled with Kelley & Dave's friends and family! As some danced the night away to the tunes of The Lucky Devil's Band, others were taking memorable photos in the photo booth. Just when you thought the night had come to an end, Slidin' Thru pulled their truck right into the breezeway for guests to grab late night burgers and fries!

In leu of guest favors, Kelley & Dave chose a meaningful way to say thank you for sharing their celebration. They made a special donation to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society in honor of their beloved pup, Shea, and to help other animals find their forever homes. Gimme Some Sugar created the most adorable "dog bone" sugar cookies (for human consumption) for guests to take home.

Kelley + Dave's BIG day was just what they had envisioned...it was a perfect way to celebrate their love for one another with all their family and friends.

We wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Thank you to KMH Photography for capturing their special moments.

Barbara + Eric: Backyard Bohemian

On a perfect Las Vegas day in mid-April, Barbara & Eric gathered their families and dearest friends in the backyard of Barbara's childhood home to celebrate their BIG day. The sun was shining, the wind was calm and love was certainly in the air!
Barbara & Eric's vision for their BIG day was imparted to us in just three simple words: bohemian, gypsy, rustic. And with that, our creative juices were flowing with endless possibilities! Our goal was to create a feeling of unconventional beauty, using gypsy-esq stylings. Think vibrant wild blossoms mixed with antique gold, Moroccan trays, cut glass, and vintage rustic woods.
Guests gathered on Moroccan rugs, vintage poufs and wooden pews as they bore witness to a breathtakingly intimate ceremony under a large Olive tree. After the ceremony, guests mingled while enjoying light bites and cocktails. Guests were then welcomed to their dining tables where they enjoyed a traditional Greek family-style dinner of pita, hummus, tzatziki, seasonal grilled vegetables and even lamb chops prepared on the family's backyard barbecue by the wonderful catering team at Cut & Taste. After dinner, it was time to dance the night away under the stars (and beautiful bistro lights strung by our friends at LED Unplugged.) Rather than the traditional wedding cake for dessert, the Mother of the Bride homemade authentic Greek pastries. Guests rounded out the evening by gathering around the fire pit to roast chocolate filled marshmallows wrapped in graham cracker crumbs...delicious!
Thank you to J. Renee Studios for these beautiful images!
